Our Mission
Having no diplomas and/or qualifications and being in a difficult situation economically and socially, can prevent some young people from building their futures plan. To this extent, an experience abroad can be an intermediary and shaping step that can allow them to refocus and find their path toward a job or a training course.
For the experience of international mobility to be accessible for all and particularly for NEETs youth (Not in Education, Employment or Training), Parcours Le Monde IDF helps the people who wants it to create a project abroad (volunteering, internship, or jobs). |
A unique and tailored Program: Dare to go International!
For whom?
NEETs youth between the age of 18 to 30:
- No matter their profile, qualification, and project (even if they do not have one).
- Who do not feel ready to enter a traineeship or the labour market and need a more secure and inspiring step in order to refocus
- Who could be interested in a unique experience abroad
- Who need to take a step back and a change of scenery
How?
Parcours Le Monde offers a reinforced support program, who can be individual as well as collective, to help young people in every step of their project, from the type of mobility they chose, to the valorisation of their experience once they are back.
The length of the support program and the number of meetings depends on the needs of each young people.

A rewarded Action
Since 2016, PLM IDF established itself on the international mobility stage as a unique organization, which is directly meeting with the young adult of Ile-de-France, welcoming them, guiding them, and supporting them, thanks to their specific skills in integration and inclusion of the NEETs.
In five years of activity, thousands of young people without traineeship, diplomas, or work, have beneficiated from a customized support program for an international mobility, led by PLM IDF team of professionals, in collaborations with their network of partners.
A successful action. Throughout the years, thanks to the support of numerous partners from France and other countries, Parcours Le Monde IDF was rewarded for its daily action on the field.

Partners
The associations Parcours Le Monde work closely with local partners in the field of Europe and International projects, youth, non-formal education, employment and social integration. Those partnerships, much like those of the European actor’s network, are in the centre of our projects and their efficiency. Therefore, we constantly work on developing our activities, networking, building new partnerships and bridges with local and international programs and operators.
We invite organizations and other entities who align with our mission to join us as partners:
Our international Partners
Connectivity: to take some fresh air allows to find (or recover) its path!
To develop a sustainable inclusion method for unemployed adults, through outdoors educational activities, this is the major goal of the strategic partnership of the project “CONNECTIVITY” (Erasmus+ KA2). In other words, how to encourage the emergence of key skills facilitating socio-professional integration, through outdoors activities as simple as a hike or a barbecue?
Since 2019, PLM IDF is a part of a consortium of 7 European partners which is working on this topic. The project is lead by Olde Vechte Foundation (Netherlands), with Praxis (Greece), Rata Jovem (Portugal), ABS (Bulgaria), YOBBO (Italy) et la Maison de l’Europe de Slavonski Brod (Croatia).
The meeting of all the partners, the 26 and 27 of October 2019 in Bergolo, Italy, marked the beginning of the project. For 3 years, the partners of “CONNECTIVITY” (Erasmus+ KA2) will experiment and capitalize every practice, in order to create an innovative and tailored method to help young people and adults with integration difficulties.
For PLM IDF, the project represents simultaneously the opportunity to expand its support program with the development of actions "d’aller-vers" (“going towards” actions): activities approaching and targeting invisible publics. It is also the occasion to reinforce its European partners network to create future volunteering projects together (either to send or receive European volunteers).
And for the benefits of this collaboration to gain in efficiency, 4 training courses will be suggested for youth workers in 2020 and 2021. A website, a collection of outdoor activities as well as an educational booklet will also be created throughout the project and will be accessible for all.
